Greeks Giving Back is a community service event, similar to Big Event, in which the Greek Community of Virginia Tech works with the Town of Blacksburg to clean up the downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods. Jobs will range from helping individual homeowners, to local businesses, to graffiti remediation, to cleaning streets. The main goal of this event is to build the reputation of Greek Life within the Town. Another emphasis is to bring the focus of Greek Life back to the core value of service. This event brings all recognized Greek Letter Organizations together to promote unity. Last year, over 700 Greek Students participated in this event and completed over 150 jobs.

Greeks Giving Back is one of the largest All-Greek service events in the State of Virginia and is completely run by students, for the community.
